Straight from Super Mario Bros., this stage has been done many times, on many different types of project, one including MUGEN. But what did you expect from the first level of one of the most popular games in history?

This is one of the first projects I've started, but it already is kind of impressive for a first stage.

One of the most memorable levels in Super Mario Bros. 3 were the airship stages. In fact, the airships were popular enough to be featured in later Mario games, like Mario Kart DS and Super Mario Galaxy.

Anyone remember that very cool level (for its time) in Kirby's Adventure? The one where Nintendo used a certain technique to render "3D" in a NES game? Of course, they cheated by using animated tiles, but who cares? It was cool back then.

Butter Building was the third world in Kirby's Adventure, and the first occurance of the rotating tower was in stage two of that world.

This stage has been upsized to fit most of the fighting game characters, although they won't actually fit well. But it's the thought that counts, and that stage was one of the cooler stages of Kirby's Adventure.

In 2002, Nintendo remade one of the classic Nintendo games: Kirby's Adventure. The game was renamed to Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland. It featured some notable differences with the original. One was Butter Building, where the rotating tower part was removed.

With this MUGEN stage, I tried to bring back the rotating stage, while using some tricks to give it a more modern look.

Come to the place where the tropical breezes blow. Well, sort of. Strong Badia, the place where the ones are always cold, and where there's probably always chocolate. It's population consists of Tire.

For a few years there has been one legendary for the biggest cross-over fancomic on the internet, or at least one with the biggest cast. I'm talking about none other than Bleedman.

One of his most well known creations is the Powerpuff Girls Doujinshi. In fact, it was this comic that gave him the fame he got. Sure, his Sugar Bits and Grim Tales From Down Below are great, but people are still waiting in line for a new Powerpuff Girls story.

Hopefully this stage will ease the waiting, or at least make a wonderful tribute.
